Sales Process
The process we will take to deliver a high quality customized simulation tool for your domain follows 5 stages beginning with an initial sales and non-disclosure agreement.
In Stage 2, ROSS Scientific will deploy one or more engineers to conduct a disease, environment and behavioural profile for your organization. This profile will comprise the identification of disease, host and environmental characteristics as well as detailed movement patterns based on existing social structures. Stage 3 then incorporates all the collected information into a simulation model based on our PathoSIM Engine.

Stage 4 will validate the model (in consultation with a ROSS Medical Advisor) that is constructed. Two possible ways of validation are; by interpretation of contact rate data generated from the simulation, and matching of attack rates with historical outbreak data (if available). Finally, Stage 5 involves user training and documentation for the delivered simulation application. The end deliverables will consist of:
- An executable, platform independent, simulation model of the customer's environment that allows:
- High level of reconfigurability for virus transmission, host and environment parameters as well as intervention procedures.
- Report generation on simulation runs (based on different configurations from (1)) which consists of charts for
i. Disease transmission dynamics for different populations,
ii. Contact rates for different pairs of index-worker, and
iii. Epidemic duration and outbreak sizes for increasing infectiousness. - Efficient visualization of human activity patterns and disease contact graph within the client environment.
- Detailed user manual for usage of the software. This user manual is designed to be easily accessible to non-technical users; providing step-by-step instructions for experimental setup and design, supported by realistic scenarios specific for the client’s environment. The user manual will also document the model validation process (in Stage 4) as well as analysis and results from those experimental runs.
